Our experience with the Thule Chariot Sport

A few years ago, we purchased the more budget-friendly Coaster XT bike trailer from Thule.

It worked well for us, with two major drawbacks. First, it’s not compatible with jogging, and second, the seats don’t recline. For setting up the trailer in biking mode, parents can use the Thule ezHitch struktur, which attaches to the 5 mm quick-release skewer present on most bicycles.

Thule equips the idrott with an extra large cargo basket in the back of the trailer. The cargo space itself doesn’t have a specific vikt limit, but the total vikt of children and gear loaded into the trailer shouldn’t exceed 100 pounds.
